Imbuement materials: what to keep and what to sell
Which stash items are consumed by imbuements, and why selling them to NPCs usually loses money.
Imbuements consume specific items, and demand for them is constant — which makes them some of the few items in the game with a guaranteed Market buyer.
The common mistake is dumping them at an NPC along with the rest of the stash. Since many have a low NPC value, they slip past unnoticed during a quick clean-up.
Keep or sell
If you use imbuements, keeping them saves the later purchase price, which is usually higher than the sale price. If you do not, the Market almost always beats the NPC for these items.
