How TibiaStash works

Recognition is pixel comparison

Every slot in your screenshot is cropped and compared against the game sprite pack. The decision is deterministic: either the crop matches a sprite or it does not.

When it does not, the slot goes to Manual check instead of getting a guessed name. A plausible guess would be worse than an honest "I do not know", because you would have no way to tell one from the other before selling the wrong item.

Some items in the game have pixel-identical sprites. In those cases the site does not choose for you: it shows the candidates and leaves the decision to you. Your correction becomes a vote, and once the majority agrees on a given crop it is recognised on its own, for everyone.

What it never touches

TibiaStash does not talk to the Tibia client. It does not read memory, inject code or intercept packets; it automates no action and does not run alongside the game. It is a website, opened in a browser, whether the game is running or not.

There is no registration, login or password. I never ask for an e-mail address, a recovery key or any credential of your account, and there is no field for that anywhere.

The only input is an image you took and uploaded of your own accord. It sits in a private bucket, no page displays it, and it is deleted automatically after 30 days.

Where the numbers come from

Item names, NPC values and categories come from TibiaWiki. The world list comes from TibiaData. Market prices come from public APIs maintained by the community, and may lag behind the game.

The total you see is the sum of the best known price for each item: a ceiling, not a promise of a sale. An illiquid item can take weeks to move on the Market, and an NPC pays less but pays right away.
